Workshops
Pathways provides training and workshops to better support the use of data in school improvement. We can also work with your staff to develop standards-based items and assessments aligned with curriculum. We can help schools develop assessments and use their data at the classroom, department, school, and district levels.

Pathway To Success
Using a systematic process to support school-wide learning leads to greater success. Most school improvement models are cyclical based on a “plan-do-act” sequence. The Pathway To Success provides a sequence of the important steps.
Setting Student Targets:
- Setting important benchmarks that will occur during the school year
- Creating a shared vision of assessments for learning
- Ensuring that systems are in place to support reporting of student data
- Creating shared vocabulary among teachers and students
- Engaging staff and students in setting targets for success
Using Targets for Success:
- Setting alignment between standards and assessment, instruction, and curriculum
- Administering aligned assessments for learning throughout the year
- Providing multiple opportunities for students to demonstrate their learning
Analyzing Data and Planning Evidence-Based Tactics:
- Analyzing student data from a variety of perspectives (school, grade, classroom, student)
- Creating comparisons (pre-administration, standards, items, distracters)
- Planning evidence-based learning tactics with teachers and students
- Focusing resources to implement learning tactics
